Laboratory of fish immunology

Reference lab technician: Sig. pierluigi Bagatella

The activity deals with the in vitro evaluation of the immunomodulatory properties of compounds /antigens on fish leukocytes and on the analysis of specific and non-specific immune parameters in fish submitted to vaccination or immunostimulation treatments. The laboratory is equipped with biological laminar flow hood, cell incubators, optical microscopes, microplate spectrophotometer and cryopreservation apparatus.
