Reference lab technician: Carla Calligaro
The laboratory performs fixation and processing of animal and plant tissues (pathological and normal) for histological and cytological evaluations aimed at research/diagnostic activities on domestic and wild animals (for plant tissues in collaboration with researchers of DI4A). Histological preparations, in addition to routine hematoxylin-eosin staining, are addressed to specific histochemical and immunohistochemical stains aimed at diagnostic and etiopathogenetical studies.
