Golden eagle being treated at the Pagnacco wild bird center
New wildlife recovery
A female golden eagle was found injured in Tramonti di Sopra by the forester of the station of Maniago (PN).
The broken wing and the bites probably due to the attack of a fox, had left the eagle almost dead, but the intervention of the veterinarian Stefano Pesaro, of the SAV section, allowed to provide the necessary care for the long recovery still in course.
Isabeau, as the eagle iscalled, is currently under treatment at the "WILDLIFE AVI RECOVERY CENTER" in Pagnacco (UD), directed by Prof. Marco Galeotti.
