Griffon vulture released after veterinary care

News from the Pagnacco Wildlife Center

After two months of assistance, a male griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) was released in the nature reserve of Lake Cornino, located in the municipality of Forgaria in Friuli (UD).

The bird of prey had been found in poor health under the Braulins bridge, in the municipality of Trasaghis (UD), due to lead poisoning.
