SQNBA: National Quality System for Animal Welfare
Design, certification and labeling of a production system to re-qualify farms
In recent days, the national quality system for animal welfare was officially presented, a process, on a voluntary basis, for the certification of animal products obtained in the best farming conditions.
SQNBA consist in a path of food quality, economic, social and environmental sustainability of production processes in the livestock sector with particular attention to animal welfare.
The complexity of these factors can be measured through the Classyfarm "platform", which allows each farm to be "cataloged" by reason of its compliance with well-defined parameters, which will allow companies to obtain quality certifications capable of bringing value added to livestock production.
