There are interesting news in the field of genomics applied to livestock production, and to the dairy sector, thanks to the PRO CASEUS project.

The study aims to measure the bull's ability to generate caws capable of producing milk that can be transformed more efficiently into cheese, thanks to the ideal timing and strength of the clot and the characteristics of the curd.

This zootechnical innovation, based on the analysis of the gene chip, will allow technicians to select animals destined for genetic improvement for greater and better milk production.
