Educational visit to the ham factory and to the CAAFVG laboratories
Initiative organized on 16.01.2020 in San Daniele del Friuli (UD)
The students of the ABA master's degree course who followed the teaching "Supply chains of animal products", zootechnical supply chains module, with Prof. Piasentier, participated in an educational visit to the DOK DALL'AVA ham factory in San Daniele del Friuli (UD).
The training activity was led in the factory by Dr. Jessica Zin, a former student in Animal Production at the University of Udine, and currently head of the quality office in the ham factory.
The second visit, organized in the same afternoon, took place at the Friuli Venezia Giulia Agro-Food Analysis Center (CAAFVG) which carries out microbiological and chemical analyzes on various food matrices to verify compliance with the PDO and IGP marks, using official and accredited methods.
