Conservation and enhancement of indigenous breeds in danger of extinction

The results of the project "Convenient" project will be exhibited in this free webinar.
The Animal Production Research Center (CRPA SpA), the Delmolino Agricultural Company with the Departments of Medical-Veterinary Sciences and of Food and Drug Sciences of the University of Parma took part in this projet focused to guarantee the protection of the Ottonese breed through actions aimed at improving the income of breeders.
The Ottonese breed, considered to have a triple aptitude (milk, meat, work), is a typically mountain breed, highly appreciated for its ability to adapt to climatic and orographic conditions and also to a diet with rustic fodder.
